hello...this is my first visit to this forum/site...i have a 96 elantra with the following mods,
RS Akimoto filter, Sharkracing front strut bar, Nokya Arctic white (basically blue) headlights, Razo shifter, Catz euro side markers with plasma blue bulbs, and some TeamSR decals...yup we belong to TSR as well...that's it for now until i come upon some more loot...

since i live in the burbs of chicago, i went to a local shop called The Driver;s Image...in Skokie...they were like $40 for the pair...they are really nice, and really blue...i had hyperwhites before, and these are in no comparison to the hyper whites..

I can't decide if I want blue or not. Both are illegal here in Utah. But I still see plenty of cars with them. Even blue fog lights are illegal here. Utah sucks!

HAHA Vegas Sucks too We cant have blue lights either, Damn this one time I heard about this dood with blue lights the cops pulled him over, he refused to remove his new halogens and put the old ugly ones back in and they smashed his head lamps...WTF!?

Yeah where not suppost to have them, I have Clear Blue in mine, crystalblue clear blue something blue, Hehe I dont usally drive with my head lamps on that much, too many lights in vegas anyway, I just drive around with my yellow micro fogs and parking lights, * Looks Sweet * aswell. My mom works in henderson she says cops are coo over there... to bad metro cops are in vegas. sukas, I get pulled over all the time for exsesive noise, like my muffler, sterio, and they think im drunk cuz i have my lights off. tsss. gotten only 2 speeding tickets when i know i should have about 200 heh.

Hehe, Yep I love to do 140 Down the freeway, and 90 on the surface streets, Thats when I bust out with my cobra poepoe detector, Works well for 80 bucks at cosco! lol! Im practically invincible! Putting my headers to the ground today, Lookin for some attention and some power! nyanya.

Yeah man, I hear ya. I was doing a little bit of freeway racing on the 215 the other day from Warm Springs to Green Valley Pkwy doing about 115. <img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>

Hello everyone. I am new here. I live in central New Jersey. I have a black 2000 Hyundai Elantra GLS. It is fully loaded except for Power moonroof and automatic transmission. I am contemplating on buying a Hyundai Santa Fe next year since I have had such good luck with my elantra.

What I have done, not too much though....

PIAA 1100x series superwhite driving/fog lights
PIAA Plasma lights (headlight replacement bulb)
K & N air filter (supposedly gives you an increase in horsepower, but I dont feel it. gas mileage is better though at least)
Hood bra (just on the hood)

Sound System...The Hyundai stock stereo is pretty good. I had the upgraded stereo w/ separate tweeters and CD player. Just needed more bass, so I wired a 10" Pioneer subwoofer w/ Kenwood 600 watt amp right up to the factory system. Sounds good.

On another note in response to the POLICE (aka po po, folice, pigs, etc. as they are known here too). I got pulled over once for having blue parking lots in my old car. However, they havent nailed me for the PIAAs cause they sure are bright. They will bust your balls though for having an exhaust and too dark of tint on the car. Blue driving lights, I dont think they care around here. They have more important things to do like get to Dunkin donuts before they close. Now to speeding, I never had a ticket and I have pulled 135mph on an interstate here. (obviously, not in my elantra). The po po are chill in some areas and worse in others. You just got to know where to got!

The cops are so paranoid here...They have nothing better to do than pull you over. No Dunkin Donuts here in Utah...So they have plenty of time to kill....Hehehe...

That's funny, because in my burb of chicago, everyone keeps telling me that the police are real dicks and that hey'll bust your ass for little **** like blue headlight bulbs/sidemarkers/turn signals, but i haven't been bothered yet (knocks on wood). But, for tints, they'll rush over in their new tax dollar paid Expeditions with the quickness to bust you...very odd...
