I assume you'll gain about 15+ since air intake and exhasut is very restrictive i hear. K&N air filter system added 15 whp on dyno so probably about same I assume.. by the way I hate you too..<img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0><img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0> I didn't even had chance to see V6 5 speed yet!<img src=/images/forums/snitz/angry.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

alfunky99,

What part of jax are you in? I'm near San Marco. What color is your '03? Mine is Carbon Blue. There is an Autocross at Cecil Field on 03/03/02 (this Sunday) If you want to run be there around 8:30 to 9:00a.m. so you can get registered and have a tech inspection done. It's fun. Im not sure if I'll be fully through with my break in period yet but I'll be there.

i don't believe you. a notable company like greddy would require a group to put down money for development on such products. it is too expensisve to have just a one off made, unless you are paying all that money up front on your own.

Rudy,

I was kind of thinking the same. I live in Jacksonville. When he gets it put on I'd like to have a close look at it. Unless they are using him as a test fit for a mass market system. That would be a rather fast embrace of Hyundai by a company that traditionally has acted like Hyundai don't exist.

i would've thought that he was doing a test fit but the way he put it, it's like he is paying them to make him a one off. that's why i don't believe him.

Break in is 1200 miles. I'm gonna have to do some driving between now and sunday to get there so I can Autocross with a clear conscience! See you there.

Mr Frieze,

It's $25.00 if you want to drive, free to spectate. I've never been out to cecil field either. I'm just going by the directions on their website. We could meet up somewhere, but it would have to be relatively early, registration closes at 10 or 10:30 am and I like to get there early so I can walk the course and figure out where the hell I need to be turning when I start my runs!

From the http://www.buccaneersolo.org/buccaneersolo2/bucc2.htm site

From I-295, take 103rd St exit west to New World Dr, turn left into Cecil Field. Immediately past the guard shack turn left on Perimeter Rd. Follow Perimeter to Aviation Ave and turn right. Follow Aviation Ave to Cecil Pines and turn left. Take an immediate right onto Flightline and the site is ahead of you. Park in the lot to your right.

Registration: 8:00-10:30 Drivers Meeting: 10:45 Timed Runs: 11:00 - ?

Entry Fee: SCCA Members - $20.00 Non-members: - $25.00

Due to the popularity of these events and in order for them to run smoothly, we won’t be able to accept entries after 10:30am. So please be considerate of others and register on time. Anyone wanting to register after 10:30pm will be charged a late fee.

My number is 904-858-9548. Call me sometime Saturday if you want to try and meet somewhere before hand.

On edit:
*******If the weather is anything like today (saturday) on Sunday then It's questionable if I'll be there****************
