try searching for the info, cuz the mods will give you the same answer... too much $, not possible on the "normal" budget...

but you are right, it has been done... what was included? I'm the wrong person to ask...

New motormounts, Tranny, axles.
Tons of man hours and money.

IMO you would be better off just turboing your motor. It will probably be cheaper with higher gains. That is why only one person that I know of has done it<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

Also IMO if you want a Mitsu then buy a Mitsu.
If you want a Hyundai then keep your car.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0> (with the exception of older DSM Hyundais)

The 4g63t is not the holy grail of motors anyway. If you are going to put this type of labor and work into your car then why not pic a better motor?

Hey shaggydog... You can drop in the 4G63T in your car but it will cost you a pretty $$ just like what the guys said. If I'm not wrong, isn't the Eclipse's tranny facing the opposite direction from that in your car? The 4G63T easily drops into my car with little or no modification (94-95 Elantra) and some Sonata's too. Good luck!

Uhm...he already decided not to do it.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/uhh.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

But yes the engines are reversed. (the tranny bolts up on the oposite side.)<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

Sonata 92-93 is a direct fit. I know cause mine is a 92 and has the 4g63T in it. It may be a direct drop into the older Sonata and Elantra even the turbo ecu from a turbo talon pluged right in my stock harness. Still lots of wiring to do of the injectors, knock sensor, MAF, injector sawp, fuel pump upgrade etc etc. Not that hard to do but its well worth it. I know im loving it.

As for the Tob.... you can swap anything in any car if u have cash money. Would be prolly cheaper or same to build the bottom end of that Tib then turbo it instead of hacking a brand new car up.

Bottom, Top, Sides, Iam forging everything that can be forged.

So your still in the break in period on yours now or have you already got the miles on it to open it up.

Let me know what it runs when you do run it with the new setup. I don't have ICQ anymore I mostly use AIM, Which I go buy Hyundai4g63T on there too. so blow me up on there if you get a chance.
