Ok so in the 2 months that I have my Tiburon I have already had to replace the Factory CD player because it would not turn on. The new was installed about 2 weeks ago. Now I am getting error 6 when I put in a CD. Does anyone know what this error is...I can't find my owners manual for the car.<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

It's the stereo. I had the same problem and they replaced it 3 times before I got one to work. They have had problems with some of the stereos.A stereo would read any cd no matter how dammaged, it would just skip.

matt is right, its the stereo, a friend of mine had the same problem. if im not mistaking it has to do with the laser. sometimes in the winter, but only the winter, that has happened to him...but it is only because the laser sometimes gets fogged or condensation on it from the cold. but when it warms up, it goes away!

You might be right about the above problem being the cd player, but saying that no matter how damaged, it will play...that's just plain wrong.

Once a cd gets too scratched it won't play at all because the index can be ruined. Not only that but certain tracks, if recorded (usually burned cd's) wrong, then it will trigger an error code due to timing not matching up with track info, etc.
