everyone. i have scoured the intraweb to find high performance parts for my 2003 1.6 liter hyundai accent. everone just check these out most probably know about them, but i logged like 20 hours (not all at once) looking for sites. sharkracing.com, hyundai performance.com, performancestylingcentre.com, jegs.com (all around parts). if anyone has any sites to add to this list be my guest. i do have a couple questions though. #1 how do i know if i have a LC or an LC2 accent? #2 are there any benefits of installing a twin throttle body setup? #4 is there a turbo available for the 2003 1.6 accent? #3 does the ecu trick really work? Thank you group. Much love to you guys and ill get some pics up as soon as possible. P.S. sharkracing has some cheap ****.

Shops NOT to trust:
HDK
KORE aka SpeedMotion aka solid-performance(coming soon) <--The name will change but the sh!ty service probably won't
CNK - Chris Kambouris is the biggest crook of them all.

If you find any new ones... let us know...

2003 is an LC2...

I'll let the experts answer 2, 3 (not sure what ECU trick you are referring to) and 4.

In #3, are you referring to the trick where you disconnect the battery for a while, then reconnect it and then drive the piss out of the car to train the ECU for better performance?
I've never tried it, but a few people on here have tried it. It probably works to some extent, but it won't turn your car into an instant 1/4 mile monster.

X3=1995-1999
LC=2000-2002
LC2=2003+

You can use many things found on the LC with the LC2. The Accent is also known as the Verna in Korea and maybe other countries.

You're going to have to custom build a turbo kit for the LC2 as far as I know (same with most Hyundai's).

Twin throttle body? unless you're going to do a major N/A setup then it's probably more hassle than it's worth. Just go with a larger diameter TB and matching intake manifold.

ECU resetting does help as stickshift mentioned, but the ECU constantly tries to learn so it'll just change when you drive slowely again I'm guessing.

holy **** dude!!!!!!! i am shocked! i wanted to start saving for a new project(although i had no idea what i wanted) because i didnt think that there was a turbo kit for an accent. one question. what is better an internal wastegate or an external. internal produces more horsepower but will you still get that satisfying hiss.

Shouldn't you also stomp the brake's a few times while or before you disconnect the battery?
