Hi, Due to the Mitzubishi Lancer and Mirage now competing in the class the Excel being rev limited to 6000 has reduced our capacity to compete. We are looking for a company or tech who can increase the rev limiter setting from 6000 to 6800 which is currently under review as a rule change. ECU then is to be checked and sealed so the only parameter that is to be changed is this rpm. No external tuners or hardware is allowed

Friend of mine helped in the local Excel X3 Cup class. He would ground the O2 sensor and force the engine into closed loop mode and tune it. It was a little more competitive against other cars (rules stipulated no remapping the ECU or mechanical engine mods...)
