i just got an elantra and decided to give it some balls. i'm just not having a lot of luck finding parts to throw on it. my next project is installing some headers and an exhaust system. can anyone give me some ideas or suggestions on where to get parts for an elantra and maybe what kind of exhaust and heads to put on it

sorry for the double post

go for the 4-2-1 header the shark racing offers...i got the 4-1 equal length and they absolutely rock with two exceptions: my ECU had to re-loop itself due to the fact that THERE IS NO BONG FOR THE FRONT OXYGEN SENSOR!!! grr....also i cant get my air/fuel ratio gauge to work properly due to o2 bank#1 being disconnected.
oh well they're good for a lot and not much else....
Peace
-Doc

Snuck the front O2 sensor has to go after all 4 outlets meet, then the rear goes after the cat, your gonna have to splice wires and make holes :)

i realize that now in hindsight lol.....
surprisingly the AFR gauge is the only real problem i have now....the ECU is stuck on a stoich. reading...which is alright i guess....i dunno.

i dont wanna drill a bong in the upper manifold.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/angry.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

No don't drill in the upper manifold, the AF guage goes on the first O2, which should be in the lower part of the headders after all 4 runners meet, then the cat, then the rear o2. There should have been a hole in the lower part of the flex pipe for the first sensor.
