Out of curiosity, does anyone here know the price of a new exhaust flex pipe in Canadian dollars? Also is it a bolt on or weld on application? Its for a 2001 Accent GSi 1.6l. Its freaking cold out and I don't really want to crawl under the car until I have to! Thanks in advance...

I just replaced mine on Saturday. Hyundai wanted 175 for the part, and 255 for it out the door installed.

Save yourself some money, and go to Canadian tire. Pick up a 1 3/4" flex pipe for 50 bucks. You will want the one that is 8" of flex material.

If you have a welder, that will make life easy.

If you want to save money on having it done, go to a local muffler shop. I am certain they would do it fairly cheap.

Hope this helps!

Matt
