eyelids for lc2

1. unroll electrical tape...
2. put electrical tape on headlight.
3. pretend its an eyelid.

cut your own out of a few layers of vinyl, get the shape and color you want for cheap

no sh!t sherlock....... was asking how would i put them on the inside or outside?
i might just buy vinyl....... where would i get it...... is it window tint??????

no its not tint.....you can go to any sign shop and buy vinyl from them...or from a canadian tire or walmart has the windshield banners you can cut up.....

but remember if you are doing a lighter colour eyelid like white or silver, put black down first, then the colour over top so the light wont come through....

I'm buying a set of Carbon Fiber eyelids, from Performance Styling Centre for about $111.00. Kinda pricy, but I Looooooove the carbon Fiber.

Really? You should post some pics. My Digital is busted, but once I buy a new one, I'll start taking pics of my 05' and will start posting them.

Uhmmmm electrical tape is neat lol.. Never thought of that.. I painted mine on when the car got painted.. Hit the High beams.. Make sure you don't cover them. Mark your line and cover the rest... THen paint away. ... Mine are good.. been pulled over by MTO and they said it was still legal as long as the High Beams are not effected. :lol:

I haven't seen any eyelid for the LC2 that I like yet. Just the shape of the headlight.

yo Vamp....what is with you being such a heter lately....yeah they should of made the eyelids a lil more agressive....but what is wrong with the grill?....

i got eyelids!!! i did them myself... the ghetto way! painted on wiht a color match paint...

step one: get some pinstriping (used because it bends and conforms easy) line it up, make both sides even, straight, start and end at the same points, be sure of no odd bends

step two: tape/newspaper off the rest of the area that you wish to remain unpainted

step three: carefelly paint on the headlight wiht color matchign sraypaint, be very careful to get an even coat, make 3 coats,peal tape off when paint it still tacky, pull tape away from paint on a 45 degree angle, clean up and excess with a razor blade and your good to go !

i wish i could give pictures but my brother has my digi cam, but it turned out great. ask rob, he's seen them.maybe i can photo shop some and if you email me i'll send ya about wat it looks like.

My opinion state that that, white LC2 (TO ME) looks like it was raped by a Honda.. that is all. That the eyelids look too much like the Tiburons tomato ones. While the Tiburon gets all the 'cool' parts, LC2 just seems to be getting the same junk, but at a 90% slower rate.

The grill would look 100x better if it was molded to the bumper. Its like a scoop that isnt molded.. looks like ass... but some people like it.

Now back to topic. If you have a problem w/ my opinion.. e-mail me. This is your warnings.

im just greatful they are actually make'n some parts for the LC2 now...lol....i like the the grill, mainly because i dont wanna do the DIY mesh because i thing 90% of LC2 owners have done it now....

i think id prefer the eyelids if they were a little more rounded to go with the circles in the head lights, that'd be pretty sweet....but then again, thats just my opinion....

as far as the grill molded into the bumper......that would mean a whole new bumper, and kits are very rare in Northamerica for a half decent one, i wish we had the R34 kit available from evofusion....i hate international shipping for stuff:smoking:
