if it's not one thing it's another. ifixed my brakes finally after a week and i get my car for 1 day, 1 god damn day and my clutch thinks it would be cool to stop working. so now i'm without a car for at least another 2 weeks. but for those that want to hear the story here it is:
me and some people went out to the chill spots in glen burnie on saturday night and we were just driving around normally not pushing it or anything and 4th gear started slipping. i'm like ok this isn't good but lets see if it will stop slipping. we pull up to a light with my friend in his civic at the front next to a cavalier, and me next to a tiburon. me knowing that my clutch would more than likely **** itself i don't take off fast at all (actually pretty god damn slow) but then second slipped and that really pissed me off. i get the car into 3rd and we drive a little further then i try to go into 4th and there's nothing there. so we pull into a parking lot and i exchanged some words with my car and decided that i wanted to leave before my car wouldn't be able to leave on its own. we get up to the light (me in front just incase) and i had to yield so i stop then try to get the car into 1st, nothing there. try to get it in 2nd, nothing there, 3rd nothing, 4th still nothing. i put on my flashers and get out of my car and kick it, and everyone pulled there cars back into the shopping center to help push my car out of the middle of ritchie highway. i'm standing outside of my car in the road with ricers flying down the road next to me like idiots so i hop back into my car. i managed to get it into 2nd and i pulled into the parking lot, called AAA and had to get the car towed all the way back to my house (only took the truck an hour, wasn't bad time at all). but now my car is sitting once again, and i have to drive the diamante again <img src=/images/forums/snitz/cool.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>. but this sucks i had my car for 1 day, i just got my rims back on the front (needed new tires) and now i can sit in my car w/o the clutch pedal in and move the stick in a perfect circle with no resistance through any gear. ****ing piece of hyundai ****. i'm looking into a stage 2 clutch from kore so hopefully that thing wont **** on itself anytime soon.
sorry for the long post but i'm kinda mad. oh yea and i just picked up my coilovers and struts yesterday, but guess what, MY CAR DOESN'T MOVE, so they are just going to sit in my room for the time being, i may just put them on this weekend for the hell of it though.
oh yea and i didn't put any dents in my car although i did kick it pretty hard like 5 times. i kicked the front bumper so if it does dent or crack i have a reason to get a new one <img src=/images/forums/snitz/evil.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>
actually now that i think about it the car does still go in reverse, if that's anything...

i'm probably just getting the clutchmasters OEM replacement clutch. basically stock but should hold up longer. still not completely sure though, the money may fall out of the sky for me.
