feeler(real sleeper)

thinking of selling the elantra wagon to get a 240sx, all I am asking is 1250(1300 with turbo manifold). It will set right next to a stock 6 speed tib from 35 granny shifting(have vid) will get more/better pics.

sorry thought that was in there, 155k(mostly highway driven), 1999, the 2.0l beta1(5 speed trany)
um a sleeper doesnt run 16s
your right it doesn't

high 14's with vary little work, if you can drive a, stock elantra will run 16.1-2, but the wagon is not done. You look at you see a station wagon you say what, its slow! I have beaten hondas, eclipses, v6 mustangs and camaros, and it wil hang with a v6-6 speed tib. if you think it is a 16 second car then you can come and put some money on your 16 second car to race my wagon.

oh and by the way a "sleeper" is anything that people think is slow.

last i checked 15s werent fast oh nice ninja edit

and you just named some of the slowest cars on the planet seriously i own a v6 mustang and my car will DESTORY it
ive beat a v6 tib (manual) by a car length and a auto v6 by like 3 car lengths AT THE TRACK

Stock elantras run higher 16s, no way your down in the 14s with the listed mods.
they run high 16's????????? maybe if you granny shift. I am happy you beat a v6 tib by a car, was your CLUTCH SLIPPING? Did you GRANNY SHIFT? Mine is and was when we raced and I did GRANNY SHIFT. If you want to have a pissing contest thats fine, but dont tell me what I can/cant do if, 1. you dont know me. 2. you have never seen me drive. 3. you have never seen nor driven my car. I really should not have told you that I run high 14's because I never ran it at a track saying how my CLUTCH IS SLIPPING, but it will run in the 14's with the above listed mods. The times I have been seeing ran by hyundai's is really sorry. I must say there are a few good cars and times I've seenbut not many. I mean come on I know that if my car (a STAITION WAGON with a SLIPPING CLUTCH) can beat up on 15 second cars ,with the above listed mods, then surely the coupes with head porting and im porting shold run better then high 14 low 15.

not to call anyone out, but I have found a few times that will back up what I am saying.

i drive a x3 swapped 2.0l. i have not ran the 1/4 yet.but i ran the 1/8.i ran a 9.3 only once. but i run a 9.9 all the time.

Crap..........I forgot to post what I drive ...........03 Tiburon GT Motor built by NGM Heads Port and polished and flowbenched , 1mm over stock stainless steel valves, .75mm over forged 9.5:1 Ross Racing Pistons and Ross rods, ARP L2000 rod bolts and Custom Oil journals bored into the block and crank (keeps the pesky catastrophic failures away)Custom High volumn Oil pump through stg 2 cams (Web ) breathing aparatus is an NGM stg 4 Intake Custom Billet aluminum upper and lower with a Big bore 60mm throttle body through an AEM CAI. Fuel supply is a ZEX high pressure fuel pump through an AEM FPR through 310cc injectors, Ignition and fuel is controled mostly by the SMT6 Smart tuner piggy back and JDS Knock sensor and timing advance and retard control.....the squeeze is compliments of a ZEX race EFI Nitrous system..........And all this goes through a Hyundai 6 spd trans with a Phantom grip Posi unit and Fidenza Axles ,Flywheel and a Spec Stg4 race clutch.I blow out all the leftovers out a set of modified SS Auto chrome headers and exhaust system w/no Cats through a Magnaflow muffler......and to think for $9200 bucks in git down the track quicker toys and a $17,500 Hyundai........I can freak a Z06 Vette out by sticken withem down the Qrtr. This is my first tuner I've done on my own, and I havent Dyno'd this yet but , hope to get that taken care of this next month....in the mean time this is my daily driver ...I still get about 19 MPG in town and about 28 on the Hwy. I dont know what more I can do to get it faster without completely gutting the car out (there's already no interior Except the DS seat and Center console and Dash)....(oh yeah, and twin nitrous bottles in the back) Anyways,thats my Tibby in a nutshell:)

I dont know who that is but with that he should do more then freak a zo6 out he should kill it.

I am not tring to be an ass or any thing but damn people, the cars have the power to run good times all they need is the driver.

my pony runs low 16's and I don't think it's fast at all...
like I said I am going to show you what a good driver can do with a hyundai, not saying that nobody up here can drive I am just going by the times ran.
If you want to run better times then the first thing you need to to is drop them 60' times, from a 2.4 to a 1.9-2.0.

I never said the car was fast but it is a sleeper, as soon as I start to get some money rolling in the car will be FAST and I am not talking about 15's nor 14's.
You'll never ever hang with a Z06 in your car. You won't beat the 385hp version's 12.6 seconnds in the quarter, can't touch the 405hp version's 12.4 seconds, and won't even come close to the 505hp version's 11.7 seconds. You just won't. I doubt the guy with the built Tib above will either no matter how much he sprays on his setup. If either of you were to manage to produce enough power to beat even the 01 385hp version you'll never put enough power to the ground to actually beat them down the track unless you strip the whole car down and set it up as a dedicated fwd drag car.

Look back at the results you've posted above. That's what's realistic for you too. These people are not all crappy drivers. That is just what you get out of a modified Hyundai with those mods.

Come back talking sh!t when you personally shave 5 seconds off your real quarter mile time (after you run it and stop making it up) and get into the realm of the cars these guys should supposedly be easily spanking.

ok let me get this right, your telling me that the best I can get out of my car with a turbo kit is a 15.1??? if that is so then that is the biggest wast of money I have ever seen.


So you mean to tell me that, the built ass tib could not pull a better time then a STOCK h22 in a honda accord on gas?????? Granted the tib is heavy but damn if you build the motor like and dont lighten up the car at all then YOUR A DUMB ASS.


I will tell you what let me get a little bit of money and I will show you guys somthing about tuning. You looking at peack power, but peack power does not get you down the track. the higher the AVERAGE power the better.

Thats a 400hp tib running 12.6 imagine how much $ is in that setup? If you even plan to break into the 13s be ready to spend some $$$$
