thats banging, i cant wait till i get mine done, just fitted the intercooler today!
about 14.5 psi max, although that was before tuning and i havent checked the boost controller since the tuning

what will really be interesting is to see how long this lasts, it's all stock internals

also what will be interesting is to see what happens when we build a proper exhaust manifold for it. the one i screwed up allows us to only use about 1/2 the flange opening (d'oh). that, and a custom air box. i'm still really not sure if i'm going to spend $ on that route or build them for a 2L.. *shrug*

thanks to 238ur50 the car doesnt drive stupid anymore :) and 168ur50 too, beyotch!
Those are some great numbers. Sweetness.
How much were the pulls and how many did you get?

depends, do you have a tongue stud? jk

it was 125$ for like 20 runs
If you swap after this I will kick you square in the nuts. Get a real manifold and enjoy, thats whats killing your power. I'd have you over 200whp/tq without the bottleneck, along with better turbo response. Car looked good this weekend!
Nice numbers! I wish I could get on a dyno but I gotta worry about a clutch first.....
we are going to redo alot of stuff on robert's car really soon

we are redoing the manifold and the intercooler piping and i going to make him a better intake manifold.

once we get all the bugs worked out, i may offer the kit to the public

Richie
Yeah the backwards math I did said around 10psi... your loosing some power somewhere if you running 14psi.. Still 170whp 1.6 very nice ;):
Blah I was doing 215bhp which is quite similar to 170whp from Scoupe turbo...Pump it up to 200whp and I'm more impressed.
thats pretty awsome man. What kind of times in the 1/4 do you think you could get?

rtpscoupe: i think i can drive like an idiot and get 14s pretty easily

as luck would have it, something is up with my wastegate. not sure if it's just a vacuum line or the solnoid is going out. when it hits the point where it is supposed to start opening the wastegate, it pretty much dumps it all. i'm going to take it apart tomorrow when it all cools down and see what i have to work with. it was a little loose on the flange but tightening that down didnt solve the problem.

eyelid: i hate the internet, it sounds like you're trying to be a dick when you're really not. it's all good bro. either way, when playing the numbers game 200whp is pretty gay. fun to drive, but still really flaming **** gay.
LOL, i'd purchase that kit easily rich. Let me know whats up and i'd love to see the final results of the whole kit and the new numbers on the dyno when you got it all set-up. Thank you for offering such a kit for us dedicated hyundai people ---- Scott
170 horsepower in a can that weighs maybe 2200 pounds? yeah.. thats fast. Good gearing and the power to weight ratio. sweetness yo. Keep up the good work. I must get boosted too. And very soon.. very very soon.
Well at least I am saying you could get out almost 100whp more power when you get your stuff properly finished so I am Just kickin you to solve the problems and make it right ;) When things aren't finished, it would be point to false truth when you give props and thumps up too early.
once my new welder gets here it on, we are going to try and make a ramhorn style manifold and we are going to redo the intercooler piping b/c we ghettoed in some spots

but soon the car will make 200whp trust me ;)
