My wife's 1998 Elantra GLS has lost all power below 3000 rpm, it seems to be skipping, and changing spark plugs and wires did not help out at all. Any Advice would be greatly appreciated.

The Elantra has about 88,000 miles, and has run great until yesterday.

have you have the car scaned to see what codes are in the computer???? That would be my first step. i can probly help you more if i know what the computer is saying.

Just before the engine blew in my '99 Accent the check engine light started to blink. As the dealer explained to me. "A steady check engine light is bad, a blinking light is well..... pray your warrantee is still in effect"!!!! Get the car checked out ASAP!!This is not the time to be cheap!!!
