just wanted to know wat causes toe/foot cramps or watever its called. i get it alot when i work out, somebody told me to drink lots of water, which i already do so that didn't help out. wat i do to get rid of this damn problem <img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0>.
got any solutions?

Bananas - because they're high in potassium... I think one a day should do it, if you're not a fan of them, you may be able to find an herbal supplement.

anything else?? i don't think potassium is a problem for me, i eat right.

How old are your shoes? Do they fit? Do you usually only wear those shoes when you work out?

Here are some suggestions:

You may need to purchase a new pair of shoes or get an orthotic insert made specifically for your feet.

If you've had a history of injury to the same area that the discomfort is being felt at, this could mean the bones and joints in that area aren't moving right and causing you discomfort when you apply external stress to them.

Next push on the bottom of your feet and see if you feel any tender spots. If you have some tender spots. Purchase a therapy ball to massage the bottom of your feet while sitting and or go see a massage therapist to work out the spasmed muscles in your feet. You may need to do this before and after you work out.
