Hey guys one of the reasons I got a new computer was to dowload and burn Cds.
When I did get it, after I hooked it up one of the 1st places I went was Napster only to find that it now sucks.
Well I asked some people for alternatives and found BearShare.
It also has a few problems mostly due to it being fairly new but I do highly recomend checking them out if you like to burn your own cds. As it does get more users it will get better.

Check them out at bearshare.com

I also have found winmx.com but find Bearshare to be a little easier to find and download stuff.

Any one else have some other sites to check out in this area?

just try mIRC.
you can get about anything you will ever need off mIRC, if you know where to look.

Try these:
For just MP3's go here:
http://www.audiogalaxy.com/
For other crap including movies, and programs go here:
http://www.edonkey.com/ or here:
http://www.imesh.com/
Way better than that Bearshare crap.
If you wanna stick with Nutella stuff, atleast try http://www.limewire.com.

But Edonkey and Imesh are WAY better and I think AudioGalaxy is the best alternative for Napster.

I've always preferred mIRC for anything I need (especially programs I "try out" ).

Cool! I will check those out L8r.
I am all about free music. That
is how I was able to justify buying
my computer.
It might be different in your areas but I have found the cheapest cdr's at Wal-mart.
$18 for 50 and now I am a cd burning fool.
Hehe lol

Memorex.
Jewel cases were $9 for 25.
I got the different color ones.
Cds cost less then $1 to make with jewel cases.
They also carry Durabrand Cds for about the same price. There is probably no diference but I know the Memorex brand and trust it.
I went into RadioShack to see what their price was, they were $30 for 25. I had to laugh.
