It's gunna get one more sanding then a complete layer (or 2) of fiberglass over the top and then 1 more round of sanding and then primer. Will have picks of the top 2morrow, next weekend I will get the bottom section finished and primered. Paints a few weeks away. can't wait to finish it.

where di you get the mesh from?

you should paint it black so t don't look ricey like it does on some civics,

The fogs came from pep boys, had to custom make the brackets, lots of fun:ermm:

Being that it's a plastic bumper and you said that you were going to fiberglass on it how does that work? I hate my front bumper but thought that I couldn't do anything because it was plastic. can fiberglass and plastic be used together? What about the cold temps. of winter?

The fiberglass will stick to the plastic but not the paint and I fiberglassed both sides of the piece to keep the crack from showing were I filled in the gaps. After using both fiberglass resin and fiberglass resin jelly I definitly like the resin jelly better. As far as winter and tempature, well not much to worry about in Sacramento.

ok I have this bad boy all primered and paint is on the way. Still need to wet sand the primer to a nice smooth finish but it's gettin there. Heres some pics

First 3 coats are on and drying, check it!


One gunna wet sand it smooth and do one more coat tomorow.

I got the same fogs from wal-mart. I got the stocker brackets to work after about 7 hours of messing with it all....what a pain. where did you get your mess from?

Ok all done and on the car and it looks dam good. I will get some pics up when my bro gets back cause he took his camera to the 49er game today.
