It's gunna get one more sanding then a complete layer (or 2) of fiberglass over the top and then 1 more round of sanding and then primer. Will have picks of the top 2morrow, next weekend I will get the bottom section finished and primered. Paints a few weeks away. can't wait to finish it.
Being that it's a plastic bumper and you said that you were going to fiberglass on it how does that work? I hate my front bumper but thought that I couldn't do anything because it was plastic. can fiberglass and plastic be used together? What about the cold temps. of winter?
The fiberglass will stick to the plastic but not the paint and I fiberglassed both sides of the piece to keep the crack from showing were I filled in the gaps. After using both fiberglass resin and fiberglass resin jelly I definitly like the resin jelly better. As far as winter and tempature, well not much to worry about in Sacramento.
