my car didnt come with a manual and i want to change out the fuel filter, where is it exactly? i dont know where it is or what it looks like, if any one has a diagram or a picture or anything that could help, it would be much appreciated.

ok i dont have a manual under the cushion, and that picture doesnot tell me where the fuel filter is, so could i get a diagram of the car and a picture showing whre the filter is?

You have to take the fuel sending unit out from under the rear seat cushion.. Think like 6-8 nuts and fuel line and electrical conector. Then pull up and out.. watch out for the float not to break it off.

Look at the front underside of your rear seat cushions at each side. There are plastic "tabs" that you need to use to get the seat cushion loose.

Remove seat cushion.

Look for a panel with some bolts...it's shaped like the picture in the .pdf above.

Loosen bolts and remove panel.

Zoom in on .pdf until you can see the fuel filter in the picture. Remove filter now that you see where it is. Do not remove sending unit/fuel pump.

Replace filter.

Replace panel. Be sure to seal it up well or it can leak water into the car.

Replace seat cushion
