Ok, so I was checking out intakes for the Tib and noticed they had Dyno results for the 2.0L. According to Fujita the 2003 2.0 STOCK puts down: 101hp and 100 ft lbs trq (see link:http://www.f5air.com/images/dyno/ca2100.gif)

YET the 2006 gets 124 hp/ 121 trq (http://www.f5air.com/images/dyno/06 tiburon 4 cyl.GIF)

why is that? The applications states 2003 dyno and 2004-2006 dyno.
I know that the CVVT was introduced in 2004 but did it really make THAT big a difference? Eithr way there is no way the 2003 2.0 made the same hp as the 1.6.

Yes, the CVVT does make a difference but not all the difference. The 2003 also was an automatic but it does not say the 2006 was. I would assume it probably was not. Also, it says the 2003 has 43,000 miles on it. That is a lot.

The other differences is the weather: While the 2003 test was cooler the pressure was slightly lower (28.9 vs 29.1) and the humidity was higher (63% vs 18%).
