Hey, since I've installed my front strut bar, I've loved the tighter feeling the car has However, even though I adjusted the bar as low and as even as it will go between the strut towers, it touches the hood's heat insulator panel. It doesn't really bug me much, except when I'm at highway speeds, the sensor for "hood ajar" flickers. Anyone else have this prob, or know how to remedy this? TIA

He hee...now there's a quick solution! I bought the F & R kit. It's from Shark Racing in Korea, but it has stickers on it that say
"KingSafe". Funny

NO! Don't take the insulation out. That protects the paint on top of the hood. If you take that off, the paint will bubble up and eventually flake off from the heat off the engine underneathe Then you need a new paint job!

hmmmm, good point. Don't think I thought of that beforehand. Welp, it's still in, I think I'm gonna see how it goes for a while. Perhaps I can just disconnect that switch that indicates the hood opening. Happy Holidays and thanks!
oh-BTW, what kind of rims do you have there on your car? they're nice

I have pulled the insulation b4 and never had a problem with the paint getting messed up.

But I do have to admit that hyundai paint is not the best paint in the world either.
