something that's bothering me is why my car's instrument panel needle's are so dim..

ever since i upgraded to the piaa xenon wedge bulbs..the gaue is super bright but the needles aren't bright red as i though they'd be..

i looked at my parnet's cars'a dn their gauge's light up very bright red like a start wars lightsaber

is there something in the gauge pod that i have to remove to get full brightness?

i don't know how you LC guy's with 02-05 accent's with the indiglo gauge's have it but my instrument panel sucks..

Wait a second, you have indigo gauges or not?
I have a problem wroth my indigo gauges that dim. Almost one year an it sucks because in dealership thy cost some 350$.
So i ordered this:

Waiting for it now. I think that just the inverter is gone...
Well this costed me 4$+14%shipp :D
If you have bulbs inside, did you checked the bulbs? Usualy the bulb looks OK but the wire inside is cuted and barely touches the other end so they dim.

I had a firefly and the stock dash niddles sucked :(
(different car but the theory might carry over)

If you took the needles off (carefuly) and drill into the needle post itself (the needle not the part in the console itself) it lets more light in.

You need a really steady hand for this and a very small drill bit.

Hope that helps
