Anybody know of any good tattoo artists on the Gold Coast? More precisely the area where schoolies is centered? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Nope, but i know the best in QLD (In my opinion anyhow)
All Star Tatoo at Indooroopilly. If you wanted to get a tat during schoolies, you could catch the train up from the gold coast, but you would probably need to book ahead.
