Get this, Im working on my car last night and I have the light shining down in my engine bay because I was taking off some old pully to my AC compressor, So the light slipps outta my hands and hits the radiator by the AC condesor Fan, the fan on the left side, I looked down to pick my flash light up and I see a TINY ass crack like this big "---" and a little bit of engine coolant leak out, I was like uh, a plastic radiator? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I go buy this crap called "stop leak" its this silver powerdy like stuff and I walk home and start the car , open the radiator cap and put it in, I close the cap and see tad bits of fuild leaking threw the crack and start to place its self on the radiotor fins, this makes the car smoke just abit, so Im like well maybee if I drive it around it will be ok, so I drove it around for about 15 minutes I even hauls some ass a bit and it still smoked a bit from the fluid dripping on the radiator, but it stoped for the last 5 minutes of the drive, so I come home park the car open the hood and notice its just a little smoky hardly visible but the leak I think stoped. hyundai dealer wants 360 for a new radiator, I was like uh your gunna charge me 360 bucks for a cheap ass plastic radiator! LMAO! and just hung the phone up, Im hopeing this stuff stoped that leak or I will be so pissed off, I will look other places for the radiator first. Who makes radiators ....plastic, I find that funny as hell.

You must have dropped that light pretty hard to make it crack like that. Im going to see if mine is plastic too now....Even my old 86 Toyota Corolla's radiator was made of metal.

Well, some kind of metal. A lot of parts are made of plastic now. I mean, look at the valve cover cap. Plastic. Way back in the day, nothing was plastic. lol.

Lantra, pop open your stang hood and see how much plastic is in there.
