I thought the tiburon 4cyl and the Elantra Gt 4cyl had the same engine.. if so then why is everyone talking about takeing a Cam out of a Gt?!?!??!?

The 01+ Elantra 2.0ltr engines in sedan or hatch (GT for U.S. folk) are the same, including cam shaft.
It differs from the Tib engine in a few areas, one being slightly more lift and duration on the intake cam, a couple of other differences are the change from a Mass Air Flow sensor on the Tib to a Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor on Elantra and a more balanced crankshaft on the Elantra.
