about half an hour ago i made an intake out of some''deflect-o'' semi-rigid Flexible aluminum duct, its 3'' x 8', works great if you need something to make alot of smooth curves, can with stand temperature from negative 100 degrees up to 430 deg.F, would work great for CAI, but i have an automatic so i dont know wuts the difference between the clearence if you have a manual, oh yea me and pops drove the new tib 6 speed, i drove it of course, got pretty good rubber in second gear, also revved at a nice looking accord with rims and all that honda stuff, he just looked at me, price take waz 23k

hey elantra I built the same kind of intake for my buds tibby his is made from 3" pvc and rubber tubeing! Mine is only 2" pvc I think that you would like the 3" model better as you have a larger MAF sensor than my accent does! I can get you some specs and a pic for the set up if you want!!!!

Hey I polished the manifold with a die gringer and a wire wheel! It works good but not perfect but the end result is really nice! Use different coarse brushes with more stiff or ruff first then go doun in stiffness to softer brushes!

The paint I used for the grey is just a grey engine paint it is a good brand but I can't remember the name! You can find it at most your autopart stores! Silver cans with a pic of the engine on the front you have prob seen it before!
The red is done with a paint pen you can get them at most hobbyshops or craft store!
Oh yea and thanks for the comp<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

Blackdevil the dremel will work great you should be able to find wire wheel to fit the dremel! you can use sanding discs but the will prob clog very easily! But if that is all you can use go for it and see what happens just try on a spot that you can't see very well first!

Rudy the braided hose sleaves that I am useing can't be found in the colors you are looking for from the local store!
But I am sure that I have seen braided kits in differn't colors like you do want!!!
I will see if I can find the company that makes them and let you know!
