I have a 252° cam from them. My power gain is from mid to high RPM range. It added quite of bit to my performance. They first sent me the wrong one, and it took me forever to get it. Then took me forever to get ahold of them and complain. Sent it back, and it took like another 2 months for them to send me the right one.

Well from the response it seems I sould have asked if there are any Cams out there that are being used that people would recommend. If so please let me know. My mods. CAI now Onpol has TB&IM now then Headers and Exhaust. Cam would be nice with s-afc or better system but Cam info would help. Thanks

Well there's one that's available in from a shop in Toronto. It's a "semi-race" cam set (intake & exhaust), and they get a dyno-proven 15WHP out of them. A guy named 2-uniq from fxtreme (not sure if he's on here too) knows their info.

Sorry I can't find the site link right now.

I got my 1.8L elantra cam from a dealership in St. Louis. Can't remember the name right now. Got it for a 100 bucks with shipping included. Seemed to help out.

Hoss455, does your elantra have a MAP sensor? If so, you have a mechanical valvetrain and the 1.8L cams are for a hydraulic valvetrain and will not work.

I keep on reading about these 1.8L elantra cams. Is it true that a Tib will get some power gain from them? If so will it work in a 2001 2.0L beta? And if so dose it matter if I have a MAP sensor or not? And what is the gain and were is it felt in the power band?

It doesn't matter if you have a Map ao Maf they will work fine. It also will work with the hydrolic lifters. Most that have installed it, (I have not) have MAFs.

from what i have gathered from ramdom and others it does not matter if you have a MAF or MAP sensor nor does it matter if you have HLA's or the solid shim .... the cams should work fine regardless.
