with my 2000 Elantra 2.0L Auto. would the 4-2-1 or 4-1 give me better performance?

Depends on what you want your car, the 4-2-1 header gives HP gains through out the whole RPM range and the 4-1 header gives greater HP gains in the high RPM range. So you decide what you need.

if I do get a turbo + intercooler kit I should just keep the stock ones?

Just curious....if u get a turbo, dont u still have to swap out the headers for the turbo exhaust manifold??

You are right Ill. With a turbo you take off the headers and there is a downpipe going to the Catalytic converter in there place.
