I've heard of ceramic headers to reduce heat loss.
Has anyone tried insulating their exhaust headers? Theory here is to prevent heat from escaping from the engine. More heat in the engine should means bigger bang. Yes, no maybe?

So do you think some duct tape and heat wrap on the extractors should do the trick?

Any idea where I can get (Canada/ or mail order) ceramic spacers for the intake manifold?

Do you think I'd feel or see any kind of gain? 1 - 2 HP maybe?

Yeah I was thinking of wrapping my CAI as well. Yeah, yeah I know it won't look as pretty.
