Dano, you can have headers ceramic coated inside and out to insulate and improve flow.
Ditto for the intake manifold.
You can also use "heat wrap". Thermo-tec.com is a good example.
you wrap your exhaust with that stuff and it holds the heat in just like a ceramic coating does. Ceramics just look a lot better! *laugh*
I heat wrap my CAI to keep it frm absorbing engine bay heat, and you can also water soak the CAI heat wraping to COOL the intake air charge!
