what kind of changes could you get by putting headers on a stock exhaust system?
And which is better 4-2-1 or 4-1?

the 4-1 header will give you more power

The more you let your engine breathe, the more power it'll produce for youGive a little, get a little. If you are going to buy the headers, definately save up for the exhaust; it'll be waaay worth it; I promise. But as for as far as just headers goes; do it, cause every bigger breathe counts, right? Please buy the exhaust though, please....

Make sure you do it on an entire exhaust, not on stock pipes and a muffler.

go to sharkracing.com and kore-motorsport.com for the headers. those are the only sites i know about but i'm sure someone else will post if there's anything better. and as for the loudness.....once you put the headers and catback on it's gonna be louder.

As far as headers go i know about the ones at shark racing but don't know where to go for the rest.
By the way how much would it usually cost to have it installed at a shop?

4-2-1 = low to mid range power
4-1 = top end power

neither necceassarily provides "more" power than the other, it's more like where you want that power produced.

Is it possible to put the tip under the car where the stock one sits. I like they way it looks clean with no with nothing sticking out.
I don't like the big tips stickin out but I'll have to deal with if it cant work.

what tip? exhaust tip? the shop that puts on it can flush mount it but they may have to cut the pipe shorter.

phantomracing.net has a 4-1 header for the Tib, it's $230.00, but with shipping they said it comes to $307.00. They get their stuff from RPW in Austrailia that's why shipping is so much.

As for as install I was told by my local import shop $60.00
