I want to move my brights on the 2nd generation... I am going to move them down to where foglamps would go. Anyone seen and problem with this??

just basically, gnna move them down and make a fiberglass holder for them to stay in, put the plastic cover back over them... maybe make the lense a little smaller...

how hard would this be??

LOL yeah, WTH was that!?

Anyways, aside from obvious issues like non-legality of this for state inspections and DOT purposes, the brights being down there might not be the best for actually USING them. As foglights they would suck because of the excess light causing excess glare and as regular high beams they would be less effective over hilly terrain because they are lower. Unless you pointed them higher, in which case they would be in oncoming drivers' eyes<img src=/images/forums/snitz/angry.gif width=15 height=15 border=0> and I hate that.

Instead of risking being hassled by T3h Man, I'd say to look at the sides of your radiator to see if you can put a ram scoop there. Or a hood scoop but it can be tough to do that tastefully.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0><img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

i hardly ever use my brights, and you shouldn't have them on when other people can see them anyway.

i have looked up, and no where in the code i am at does it say you legally have to have bright lights... just headlights that work and function properly (although one of mine is out right now hehe)
