FYI Boys and Girls. I was checking out the performance and specifications on the 2001 Honda
engines...heard they had added a little mid-range torque and a little
hp. Edmunds road test gives this...
Civic Coupe Ex:
0-60 7.9
1/4 16.2 (127 hp)
Civic Sedan Lx:
0-60 8.4
1/4 16.5 (115 hp)
These EX times are right on the stock TIB. The LX is right on the few stock Elantra times I have found. (I believe the 5spd Elantra can do better than 8.4 and 16.5...I intend to try at the track someday soon. Anyhoo, don't take the new Civics for granted...come prepared to rock.
