I was just taking off my TB on my 1998 Accent to change to a new one I just got, but in the middle of it, I figured I'll change it when I get an intake, to really maximize the new larger TB, so I put my stock TB and plug back all the lines and what not. When I go to start it, it starts, but it has VERY erratic idle. then I try to give it a little throttle, and right as it get back to idle, it dies....

can anyone PLEASE HELP!!!

TIA,
Chasen

Yea, I was able to remove the OE TB, so I disconnected everything.

What is a IAC? Also, when you say vacuum hose, are you talking about the hose that is connected to the L-shaped "nipple" on the TB, or the other 2 hoses connected to the downward facing nipples on the TB?

Thanks,
Chasen

I triple checked all the hoses/lines on the TB, or at least the ones that I touched, and everything seems to be tight, but when I start the car, there is a very distinct smell of fuel. Can anyone explain this?

Thanks,
Chasen
