Hi, really need some help here before i order one. I use an iPod and Satellite receiver religiously in my car. Recently the tape adapter i used got stuck in the deck and my local Hyundai dealer cannot fix it for a reasonable price (warranty up on the stereo). I really want something that fits right in where the old stereo is, and i learned that it's a double din set-up (sorry for my ignoranc ei know nothing about this), and these are the only 2 i can find with front panel Aux inputs so i don't have to deal with that tape adapter fiasco ever again. Can i confidently order either of these knowing that they'll fit right in where the old stereo was without any issue? And will the sound be of the same quality as the Infinity that i currently have on my '03 GT? I just really don't know anything about this stuff and i'm hoping i can get some help from some of you experts! And if there are any others i don't know of that are decent and have front imputs like this please, offer them up.

the best thing to do if you want the same or better sound output/quality is compare the specifications of the new one you want with the one you have currently, ie look in the operators manual and it will tell u the power output, etc. as long as the head unit in the car is currently double DIN a new one that is will fit straight in

You dont need a double din cd player/deck for it to work. You can get a setup where you can have a single din and have a little tray underneath (the empty din) to place stuff in for extra storage. Like a garage remote, air freshener, or like my friend Rob a tein EDFC =).

yeah you'd have to match the specs of the infinity...but im sure whatever you pick in a decent price range will be fine.

you can also get one that is ipod ready that has an adapter in the back and a wire...

so you can just plug it up and not see the wire.

Believe it or not, the specs for the system are not listed anywhere in the manual or any documentation i got with the car when i bought it in october 2002. Hopefully i can just pick one of these systems i'm looking at and all the speakers and subwoofer will be able to translate well to whatever i end up getting.
