Help!! I have a P reg Hyundai Accent MVI and the headlights won't turn off even when the ignitions off, the dash lights go off when you turn the headlamp switch but the actual headlamps stay on, the only way to turn them off if to remove the fuse in the relay box under the bonnet!!
Have checked all the fuses and relays and OK

Anyone any ideas???

The wire leading to teh DRL circuit is cooked and/or shorting (that's assuming you brits have Daytime Running Lights)

Check the leads to the relay(s) with a multimeter. Ground one to the battery or somewhere on the engine and continously check the prongs for power. Once you find it, determine if it's the relay lead or the load lead. If it is the load lead, find out what it's fusing with. If it is the relay lead, check the actual switch... which entails more taking apart of stuff.

Electrical sucks. I know, my light switch melted today... luckily I have a spare switch lying around.
