You think so Lantra? I had a similar problem with my old Corolla. The idle would be low and then when I would stop, it would jump up, then drop back down. I had it adjusted by a mechanic and it was fine. He didn't say it was sensor problem. Just needed an adjustment because the car was old.
And as I said in the maintnace forum....Get that timing belt changed! If you haven't already done so.
