Last night when I got home, I was getting out my car the regular way, but for the 1st time I noticed that all 4 power windows could still be operated, without the key in the ignition. The radio does not work though, and once you open the door, you would need the key in the ignition to roll the windows up/down again. My girlfriend thinks that I just never noticed this before, but I've had this car for a few months now, and this finally caught my attention. Can any of you test this out the next time you get out of your car? Thanks

Well, many newer cars have this feature. After shutting down the engine, you can still operate your power windows without the key for about 5-10 minutes unless you open the door. I find it very useful, especially when your passengers forget to close their windows before you shut down the engine.
