Is the 1.6L DOHC head on the US spec 2001+ accents the same as the Australian spec DOHC head? I believe you guys sell a header for both, so i hope y'all know.

My interest is this: chiptorque sells a turbo kit for the DOHC accent (oz spec). The kit seems very complete, and even with shipping it seems like a good deal. It comes with a new manifold for the turbo, but I am afraid that hyundai pulled a snafu and made the heads for the two different.

Can ya help?<img src=/images/forums/snitz/angel.gif width=25 height=20 border=0>

Yeah, the workshop is in Sydney, Australia do turbo conversion. They are called Silverwater Austomotive Services. You can check out the kit on www.chiptorque.com.au I always thought that Accent/Excels were the same everywhere and had a 1.5L engine only. SAS have the complete kit with chip, intercooler, t2 turbo, blow off valve, all piping and accessories for A$5000. I am planning to do this conversion to my '98 Excel twin cam in June.
