Hey Doc after I hurt my knee I went to my friend's health food store to get some stuff. He asked me to try this stuff that is supposed to help you with joints and ligaments. Here is what is in it if that will help you.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 1000mg
Vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine HCI) 25mg
Zinc (picolinate) 15mg
Glucosamine Sulfate (GSX-glucosamine sulfate complex) 1000mg
Chondroitin Sulfate A 250mg
Shark Cartilage 250mg
L-Proline 250mg
Bromelain (2000 G.D.U./gram) 140mg
Sea Cucumber 100mg

Just wondering if it would help since I keep tearing stuff up on my body.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

That will help keep your cartilage healthy and repair it too, but won't repair any torn ligaments or tendons. The only ingredient that is missing is Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM).

MSM: Derivative of DMSO, is a naturally occuring compound of biologically available sulfur, an indispensable element in human nutrition. As part of the amino acids methionine and cysteine, sulfur is required for the structural intregrity and function of almost every protein in the body, as well as the glycosaminoglycans of cartilage and other connective tissue. Dietary MSM serves as a versatile donor of metabolically active sulfur for the synthesis of numerous organosulfur compounds and proteins in the body. As such, MSM helps maintain normal immune response, lung function, connective tissue metabolism, and muscle contraction. MSM occurs naturally in a variety of foods, such as fruits, vegetables, cereal grains, milk, and fish. However, MSM is volatile and easily lost during cooking. MSM is very well absorbed by the intestinal tract and rapidly distributed within the body.
