Hey guys, I'm new here. We've had a 99 Elantra wagon for a few years and I totally love it. Now after shopping around for a month I've decided to get a 2002 GT which I'm ordering in the next few days. I currently drive an 89 Ford Tempo...biggest piece of crap out there. I frequent tempotopaz.com/phpBB and www.fordforums.com so when I trade in my Tempo you will see me here often!! Tempo owners are kind of in the same boat as most Hyundais, there aren't a ton of aftermarket parts out there compared to Honduhs and other rice rockets. We don't have much respect for the cars with more decals than mods, either. Anyway, this is a great site and look forward to posting with you guys in the future!

Hey I had a 87 Tempo! BIGGEST POS I've had!
But I gotta say the engine lasted forever, everything else fell apart more than once, but the engine stayed, mine had 250000 km's when I got rid of it.

thanks guys. After reading like everything in this forum for a few days I have started to like it more than the other forums I check out. And about my GT...I called for insurance today and have to wait until Monday...they have to check my driving record and stuff. Getting insurance sucks when you have a ticket for going 30+ MPH over the speed limit, it's gonna cost me almost as much as the payments. But they're sweet cars, much nicer than my mom's 99 wagon. I can't wait!!

Good choice. What color you want? I REALLY like the cobalt blue ones. I may get my GLS painted Cobalt or Coastal blue in a few years.
