As I go up through the rpm range of the engine I get a high pitch vibration around the rear view mirror, defrost vents and A-pillars (supports between windshield and front doors). Is this normal? Any fix?
Thanks in advance!
Eleven, I have a similar situation with my Elantra. Dashboard rattles a bit from area that you are talking about. Most Hyundais I have been in have some rattling. Its a cheaper economy car. One rattle is from the speedometer cable. The others are just from cheap plastic that Hyundais use. I just crank up the radio and ignore it.
I have a tibby and everything rattles in there but thats just when the stereo is on! But ya know whats really annoying is when i doint have the stereo on is those seat belts in the back hitting the side of the car!
I never experienced anything rattling inside, the only thing I had was a squeaky clutch and that just needed some oil. I hung a real small silver shark charm from my rear-view mirror and that vibrates, but that's just the charm. But I like my shark there so rattle or not, he's staying. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/approve.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>
