I had a 98 rt they where pretty quick i think 0-60 in like 7.5 stock it was fast for what i had

Don't underestimate them too much. They gave me a run for my money through 3 gears in the Del Sol.

I was gonna race an older one that was all riced out about 3 weeks ago, but we were in traffic and when we came to a light I happen to catch the BOV whistling!

Funny you should mention the new r/t. I just had a quick race with one yesterday. I was driving down this road when I saw a red r/t racing a 95ish convertible camaro(v6 I think). Needless to say he lost. He then pulls up next to me, looks over and rev. We get to a red light and we both creep ahead at a slow pace. I'm at 4500rpms, holding, waiting. I see his car buck, I floor it and say see ya. We only got through 2nd because we were coming up on traffic but at around 60 I had a 1 car lead already. I know I would have pulled more but the damn fuel cutoff hits almost 500rpms BELOW the redline on my GLS. I want to fix this and raise it to 6700rpms. Why the hell would you make the fuel cutoff before redline? I wish we would have gotten into 3rd<img src=/images/forums/snitz/uhh.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

I have had a lil problem with my rev-limiter kicking in just above 6 grand...well below red-line. Today
was the first day it DIDN'T happen.
I was racing a Dodge pick-up and glanced at the tach as I shifted into 2nd...and whaddaya know, I was around 6400 rpms and no bounce off the limiter! My GLS has 4000 miles on it now, maybe its finally broken in. It wasn't really a race, he surprised me by stomping on it without a rev or any other sign. I just chased him, pulled up nearly even, but had to stop for the next red. He suddenly got nervous and shot over to the turn lane. He knew that I would be ready this time<img src=/images/forums/snitz/guns.gif width=33 height=16 border=0>

The Neon ACR's are the fast ones. The R/T's are comparable to the tibby...best driver wins.
