Holy Crap!!!! That's pretty freaking sweet! The only question is..how did he attach everything? I'm guessing he used both 3M double sided tape, and small rivet screws. I think I'm gonna have to do that with side skirts. I can't really find any that I like alot, so if I design my own..then I know I'll be 100% happy with them!

damn, that is sweet. that must save you a tone of money making your kit out of foam. i think i might try that for the front of my car if i ever have the time. nothing major, just some ground effects or something. how would you make it stay on?

Wow. That is really cool. He must be a sculpter or something. I can't imagine myself doing that. It would come out all lumpy and uneven. Probably fall off too! But that is amazing. Mad props goes to that guy.

I don't know about the rest of you but remember 2kLo has alot of experience with custom body work. It is not easy to buld your own kit so if you have not done it before or anything like it then you might want to reconsider going out and buying a bunch of fiberglass

Hey man...exactly! I have alot of experience with fiberglass and I can tell ya..it's not fun or easy stuff to work with. It can be quite a pain in the ass. I took the Eclipse Wings West Aggressor kit and molded it to fit a Tib, and I had to do ALOT of fiberglass work for it to fit right. Unfortunately, I'm not gonna use it anymore and I'm getting something else real unique and different. But on any note..if anyone plans on either building their own kit, or using fiberglass at all..mess around with some spare pieces of an old car or old kit first. You'll be glad you did.

You can let the foam there or you can remove it. If you let the foam, the only thing is that your skirt will be stiffer and heavyer.
You can buy the foam in a home depot or a renovation center. The way you have a block of 6" of heigh, you must glue 3 sheet of foam (2" each) with water based contact glue. Then you may cut it and sand it.
