I just bought a hood scoop from a outback impreza at the junk yard and was thinking about putting it on my car. Does anyone know safe it would be to hook this directly up to my air filter. Im worried about water inhelation when its raining/snowing.

Here the WRX scoop sells for $100 new which isn't genuine, but is exactly the same. Don't put it over the air filter, i don't have problems with induction temps at the air filter, you would install this pretty much as a cosmetic thing, where the wrx mount usually goes, make sure that if you install it, you have adequate protection for the spark plug cover, as you don't want water going down there.

You've probably seen this picture, but i would love to have this bonnet on my car, it's based on a Nissan S14 200sx bonnet; (look down the bottom of my page at the red y2 sonata);
