I have a 04 accent automatic and was wanting to see what i could do for horsepower an acceleration. not to sure what im willing to spend sinc eim new at this stuff i dont kno the prices but would like any feedback jes so i can see whats out there.

welcome aboard!

here's a quick breakdown. Keep in mind the accent is an economy car, so small scale mods don't do a whole lot.

small scale:
intake, exhaust+headers

large scale:
beta swap(2.0L engine from a tiburon/elantra)
turbo


one thing about the accents.. a great light car with fantastic handling potential!
lots of people opt to avoid any small scale mods with little margin.. and make the car handle great!

strut bars, swaybars, springs, or coilovers... some brake upgrades.


this forum is just filled with stuff.. I still spend a good couple hours going through the pages and pages of posts on here every now and then and still always learn something new!
