replace my e-brake? I bought the race air leather momo shift knob and I wanted to buy an e-brake to go with it. How do I take mine off and put the new one on?

It's tough to get off, but with a little muscle, you can do it. It just twists off. You have to twist it, and pull forward at the same time. Like I said...use some muscle to get it going. Once it starts to move, it'll be easier.

As far as the new one goes, it has little allen screws to keep it on tight. This is the one that I have:

thanks I can't see the picture of yours Did you put yours on with the e-brake on or off? Just wondering which would be easier

Off...you would need a pretty big and hefty handle to fit over the stock one. I don't think there are even any out there made to fit over stock handles. Besides....getting rid of that old clunky stock one and replacing it with a nice aftermarket one helps the interior out ALOT!!!

LOL 2k geez you must think that I'm a numbskull. LOL no what I was asking you, did you install yours with the ebrake off as in down (no e-brake on) or on as in up? Get me? I just wanted to know at which angle I would be able to work with it best

RedShark..ha ha sorry. Actually it doesn't really matter whether the brake is up or down. It would probably be a little easier thoough when it was up because the shifter wouldn't be in the way.

Anyway, did you find a new handle?

Yeah I found one They are out of stock on it until the middle of the month, so then I will get charged and shipment will go out. Just have to be a little patient. Thanks so much for your help and sorry not to make myself as clear as I thought I was
