How many people have the 2002 Sonata? Of those who have it, how many are actually planning on modifying it with perhaps a body kit or performance mods?

i'm definately modifying mine......i know i'm gettin some 18'' chromes, and some type of body kit, i just got my 2002 about a week ago, and i'm still checking out my options.....i'm not worried about speed....(i also have a 2001 SS Camaro so why bother) but i want that luxury pimped out look for the Sonata......i've got my weekend ride, now i need to hook up my week day ride......any suggestions on where to find good cosmetics for the 2002 Sonata?

Look no farther then www.hyundaiperformance.com

Main Page you will see the Ixion Kit. I think it is one 'sick' body kit. Throw some 18"s on it it will look awesome.

Then all you have to do is wait for the twin turbo kit that I betcha will be out soon after the release out of Africa (I think its too complicated for the guy doing my Tiburon V6 to put together) and you can see if your Camaro SS will be able to keep up <img src=/images/forums/snitz/wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>.

SS - 3554 lbs circa
Sonata - 3223 lbs

With Twin Turbo the Sonata will likely have the same power if not more then your SS, but well other then gearing, your SS will have to put up a real fight hehehe

yea i'm tryin ta find some websites to order some mods for my sonata, the camaro i got isn't stock though, i've put headers, a supercharger, 3:73 gears etc. that thing runs, i'd have to do some major work to my sonata ta make it run wit the SS.....any how, you know any good websites i could check out to order some mods? i saw that bad ass body kit and i'd like ta get that kit, but i wanna wait and see what else comes out, but i do like that kit, so i dunno......any suggestions on websites i could check out???? <img src=/images/forums/snitz/guns.gif width=33 height=16 border=0>

dayum, i just went by the dealer today to say wuzzup and find out about some warranty info......i found out that if i put some bigger wheels on my car and some different tires, it'll mess up the computer system because the rotors have a sensor on them, and if the wheel has to turn any more or any less than the stock wheel the sensor ****s up the computer........now i gotta get the exact circumferance of the wheel i have including the tire, and hopefully some 18's and a low profile tire will be identical in circumferance.....hopefully....DAYUM <img src=/images/forums/snitz/guns.gif width=33 height=16 border=0>

yeah my wheels have the same circumference as the stock tires so i think im ok
