How much compression I achieve with the 1.5sohc engine? Can the engine hold 11:1?

your still trying to a all na 1.5L good luck, i thing the block can take it but i dont thing the head can, mybe with a p&p it can. i thing you better with 1.5L or 1.6L dohc for na setup if you dont want to go na beta

All I want is a little more low end torque and perhaps later a camshaft which is very difficult to find.

If I were u Id go with a 2.0DOHC swap. Ive seen those bastards run and let me tell ya, there FAST!I know that they had to weld the engine mounts, but not shure if they used the original Tiburon mounts. But hey do a search!
