After doing a little bit of research at work last night using webtech for the 2000 tiburon wiring and the factory shop manual for 97 Hyundai Accent (sohc) & (dohc) i discovered that there is NO DIFFERENCE between the accent pin out and the tiburon pin out...
THE WIRING PINOUT DIAGRAM FOR THE 98 HYUNDAI ACCENT 1.5L POSTED BY BLACK DEVIL IS INNCORECT.. (diagram for the 00 Tib 2.0L is 100% correct)
The only difference between SOHC (1.5L) & DOHC (2.0L or 1.5L) is that the sohc engine does not have
PIN 18 - Canister Close Valve (2.0L & 1.5L DOHC)
PIN 76 - Fuel Tank Pressure sensor (2.0L & 1.5L DOHC)
Every other PIN is identical FOR the 1.5L SOHC, 1.5L DOHC, and 2.0L DOHC

So this mean that other then extending a few wires in the engine bay wiring is NOT an issue... All that has to be done is
1) find the stock ecu and unplug it
2) remove and replace with the 2.0L ecu
3) Plug the ecm harness into the 2.0L ecu
4) Start you beta and enjoy
PROPER IDLE AND NO MORE CEL!!!!!!!! RUNS PERFECT!! Should now also be 100% emmission compliant as it's running proper ecu now!!
Here is the correct diagram.. Same for 96-99 1.5L SOHC & DOHC and 97-02 2.0L
Can someone make this sticky and UN Sticky the INCORRECT info!!!!!!!
