I will prove you wrong. There is no way ANY engine, let alone a Honda engine, be so inefficient even if it was automatic (which loses about 15-20% power to wheels from crank)
A 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si only came in 5speed. So, we all(most of us anyways) know that there is a lost of about 10-15% power from the crank to the wheels on a manual transmisson.
160bhp*0.90 = 144whp
160bhp*0.85 = 136whp
The range is 136 - 144 whp. This is confirmed on the many , many dyno charts I have seen. Don't tell me you don't trust dynometers?
Respectively, 140bhp will be a range of about 119 - 126 whp
Of course none of that is exact but it is pretty darn close. Any arguments?
