I just was on Hyundaiusa.com and they will be launching a new section of their website called customs...it will have all kinds of factory made custom decals and wild paint jobs...Hyundai is jumping in on this...maybe they will get more inspired and start making factory aftermarket parts like Subaru.

Damn, you beat me to it. I was just going to post that. I didn't see where it mentioned custom decals but I'm interested to see where they'll go with it. Seems that promoting customization would make them have to loosen up on the warranty a little bit.

When we were talking to them at SEMA about it, they were far too concerned about keeping the warranty with the parts.

They feel the cars haven't been tested to see what they can take.

well Rob got one part right, and second, have you see what TRD puts into some of the cars, as far as intakes are concerned (taking one example) just a short-intake... like I said they will prolly put something like that on the cars... I think Hyundai will go more with the looks department than with performance...

The thing about factory backed aftermarket is that it is almost always overpriced and underperformed. Even if hyundai does end up offering anything, true racers will probably never buy it.
